On this episode of the podcast, we’re joined by guitarist Chris Alfieri from the band Vattnet. Vattnet released its self-titled album in September of 2017 on New Damage Records. The album is filled with heavy guitars, vocal melodies and crushing drums. If you’re a fan of bands like Thrice, Deftones, etc., this record is for you.
Chris talked to us about the band’s transition in style from the black metal outfit Vattnet Viskar to a more progressive metal sound in current version known simply as Vattnet.
Chris has known podcast host Steve Flynn for sometime now so we have some fun with Chris, playing a few games, talking wrestling podcasts, hearing about the time he met Kirk Hammett at a museum and we calculate how many times Bruce Springsteen has had his butt pinched.
In all seriousness, Vattnet’s self titled album is well worth checking out. We also discuss some other cool content in this episode that we’ve linked to below if you’d like to go check any of it out.
