Meet the “Steve-o-caster!” Just kidding, it’s definitely not called that but our guy Steve designed this style of our Anastasia guitar for himself about a year ago and he’s been gigging on it ever since with his band Nominee. That guitar has been coast to coast and it has handled it like a champ.
This Anastasia guitar was done in gun-metal a grey, the first Moniker Anastasia ever in that color and only the second time we’ve used that color on any model.
The pickups are a matched set of Lollar Vintage Tele pickups that snap like a Tele should but also sound mean when driving your amp.
The guitar body is made of solid premium grade alder wood which we love for its perfect weight to tone ratio. In other words, alder is a dense wood that creates great tone but its not so heavy that it will break your shoulder.
This model is a semi-hollow body with a center block of wood to reduce feedback.
It has a gloss top coat over the gun-metal grey paint.
The neck of the guitar is North American hard maple with a rosewood fretboard and dot inlays. The profile is a Soft-C shape with a measurement of 1 and 11/16 inches at the nut. The nut is a GraphTech graphite nut and the frets are medium jumbo stainless steel.
All Moniker guitars have a 24.75″ scale length.
The neck is natural on the back with a painted headstock and gloss top coat.
Hardware and more
We used a Wilkinson T-style bridge with compensated brass saddles.
The tuners are Gotoh 510 6 inline chrome tuners.
This guitar also have a parchment colored pickguard.
Pickups and Electronics
Lollar Tele Vintage bridge pickup:
Get that classic Tele twang along with just enough midrange and bass for a gritty growl with our Vintage T Series bridge pickup. The Lollar design gives you a touch more sustain than you get with typical Tele-style pickups. Features an early flat-pole design with graded Alnico 5 magnets, wax potted coils, and vintage style cloth covered lead wire. 7.4k
Lollar Tele Vintage neck pickup:
This is the matching neck pickup for the Vintage T Series bridge pickup. It offers full-bodied midrange and a clear top end that sounds full and clean with moderate amp breakup. It’s wound with larger diameter wire to give you less compression compared to typical Tele neck pickups. Made with Alnico 5 magnets, wax potted coils, and vintage style cloth covered lead wire. 5.6k
We use Alpha American pots and wire it by hand.
